Parkland | 18 Holes | PAR 71
The Wanderers is not a brutal championship layout, but one that favours the shot makers. The holes demand finesse and accuracy rather than power, especially the ability to shape tee shots through narrow avenues of trees.
With its magnificent variety of mature trees lining attractively-shaped fairways, and undulating terrain, it’s a delightful place to play golf.
- One of the most central courses in Gauteng
- Club length of 6575 meters
- Rich emerald green and in splendid condition
Detailed Course Information
The Wanderers Golf Club is a distinct par seventy-one, eco-friendly thumbprint by South Africa’s premier golf course designer and professional golfer, Robert “Bob” Grimsdell.
The scenic eighteen hole golf course is one of the oldest golf establishments offered by the city of Johannesburg. This classic-style golf course has a captivating history which dates far back to the clubs founding in 1939.
